Join us as we host Tara Garner, founder and creative eye behind Under Construction Photography, for our next WIC Community Q&A. Learn more about her story of changing her perspective on construction to be behind the photographic lens and what being a woman in construction means to her. 

As the daughter of a third generation Ironworker, Tara started taking pictures of construction sites near her job at the IBEW local 45 to feel connected to her father after his passing. Her personal approach portrays the human side of the construction industry, to highlight the incredible men and women working blue collar jobs across the globe, and to bring appreciation and dignity to their trades. Tara has been invited to photograph job sites all over the country, does social media and marketing development for the industry, and works with the best in the field to strengthen their brands.
