Groundbreaking Women in Construction (GWIC) is much more than just a conference—it serves as a catalyst that helps women expand their presence, influence and career success in an ever shifting industry—and to share, learn, challenge and inspire in their organizations. Procore will be hosting a booth and a roundtable conversation at this year's event, and we'd love to meet our WIC Community there!

About this event
Our Women in Construction team wants to meet you at GWIC 2022!
RSVP to join us at the Procore booth (# TT28) for a special surprise.
We also want to invite you to join us for a lunch table discussion from 12:00 - 1:25 PM on Thursday, May 12th on the topic “Why aren’t women staying in construction?”. Sasha Reed, Director of Industry Advancement at Procore and head of Procore.org, will lead the conversation where we’ll look critically at why the representation of women in construction has hovered around 8-10% over the past four decades. We’ll dive into why there isn’t sufficient data to explain why women are leaving the industry, and how we can work together to create a better path forward.
Hitting 10% representation of women in construction is something to celebrate, but given the fact that this number hasn’t budged much in the last four decades means that there’s still much more work to do. Join this roundtable to discuss why there isn’t the data necessary to explain why women are leaving the industry, and how we can create a better path forward.
